Jacqueline Michele “Jackie” Shireman

Bristol- Jacqueline Michele “Jackie” Shireman, 72, of Bristol, Indiana, died Sunday August 29, 2021, at her residence in Bristol.  She was born June 28, 1949, in South Bend, Indiana to John Potter and Marguerite (Golden) Talcott.

     On August 14, 1971, in Mishawaka she married Gary L. Shireman.  He survives along with a daughter, Michele Shireman of Bristol and cousins, Russell (Laurel) Grisamer of Storrs, CT, and Jill (Chris) Deyerling of South Bend.  Pat, Mike, and Jack Warford, Judy Beth (Don) Anderson, and Velva Rose Brackett.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister, Patricia Joette Talcott.

     Jackie graduated in 1969 from Elkhart High School.  After high school she attended beauty college and became a licensed beautician retiring in 2018.  She was a member of the Greene Road Church in Goshen.

     Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. up until service time at 12:30 p.m. on Friday September 3, 2021, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Pastor Keith McFarren from Bethel United Methodist Church will preside and burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Bristol.
