JACQUELINE JACKSON WILSON

September 6, 1926 – June 17, 2022

ELKHART- Jacqueline Jackson Wilson, 95, of Elkhart, died Friday June 17, 2022, at Greenleaf Health Campus in Elkhart.  She was born September 6, 1926, in Springfield, Illinois to Hildreth D. Noeker.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Claude Jackson, Jr., Harold Wilson, her friend Floyd Manges and son-in-law, Stephen J. Roy.

     Jackie is survived by her son, A.R. (Mary) Jackson, her daughter Kay Jackson Roy, 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

     Jackie attended the University of Illinois, was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, a member of the DAR and the New Horizon’s Band.  She was an avid reader and was always willing to use her skills to help others who were interested in genealogy.

     A heartfelt gratitude to family, friends, and professionals- Greenleaf Health Care, Heartland Hospice, attorney Paul Eash and Staff, Librarian Craig Cheney and caregiver Kathy Westgate.

     A private family graveside service for Jackie will be held at Rice Cemetery at a later date.  Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with her care.

     The family has requested no flowers or donations.  Cards with a fond memory are appreciated.
