ELKHART- Jacquelin A. “Jackie” Ramirez, 78, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday October 28, 2023, at the home of her daughter in Elkhart. She was born April 12, 1945, in Bowen, Arkansas to Willard & Edna (Merle) Sutherlin.
Surviving are 5 children, Patricia Schlabach of Milwaukee, WI, Theresa (Clinton) Becker of Elkhart, Tina McQueary of Elkhart, Johnny Ramirez of Michigan City, IN, Kalsey Goodwin of Elkhart; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 siblings, Donna Miller, and Willard Sutherlin both of Elkhart and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, Sally Whitman, and a grandson Gage McQueary.
Jackie enjoyed crocheting, sewing, drinking her morning coffee, going to garage sales and thrift stores, and spending time with her loving family.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services and cremation will take place. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
