IVAIH MONAE GIPSON

January 23, 2009 – April 25, 2022

ELKHART- Ivaih Monae Gipson, 13, of Elkhart, Indiana, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday afternoon, April 25, 2022, at her residence in Elkhart surrounded by her loving family.

     Ivaih, the daughter of Kevin and Shawna Gipson, was born in Elkhart, Indiana on January 23, 2009.  Surviving along with her parents are her siblings, Izaih Sharp Gipson, Alaya Gipson, Alaysia Gipson and Kevin Gipson all of Elkhart, Indiana.  Also surviving is her grandfather, papaw Danny Joe Gipson and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Ivaih was preceded in death by her grandparents Unice and Rebecca Sharp, Viola Gipson, mamaw Sally Gipson, papaw Warrick Gipson and aunt, Brenda Caraway.

     Ivaih enjoyed family time, car rides, artwork, watching Full House, many foods, playing  on her I Pad, Uno and eating healthy food.  She also loved taking care of babies, being a momma boss and caring for others.

     But, most of all Ivaih had a big smile on her face no matter what she went through, and it encouraged all of us.  She even had a smile on her face when she went home to be with her Lord and Savior.

    Ivaih was currently in the 7th grade at Northside Middle School in Elkhart.

     Visitation for Ivaih will be at Walley Mills Zimmerman Funeral Home. Calling will start at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2022 until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m.  Officiating will be Pastor Bob Lambert, of Open Sky Ministries.  Burial to follow at Rice Cemetery, Elkhart, IN.

    Contributions may be made to the funeral home to defray expenses.
