HARVEY R. KAUFFMAN

November 14, 1951 – December 8, 2020

ELKHART- Harvey R. Kauffman, 69, of Elkhart, died Tuesday December 8, 2020 in Millersburg, Indiana from injuries he suffered in an automobile accident.

He was born November 14, 1951 in Nappanee, Indiana to Raymond and Edna Mae (Mast) Kauffman.

     On June 7, 1975 he married Virginia Kay Hostetler.  She survives along wth 3 children, Matthew R. Kauffman of South Bend, IN, Londa K. (Chase) Kauffman-Bissell of Weaverville, NC, Joshua S. Kauffman of Elkhart, IN; 1 grandson, Reese Kauffman-Bissell; 8 siblings, Ruby Barker, Katie Wolowicz both of Middlebury, IN, Sue (Gilbert) Miller, Jr. of Nappanee, IN, Wilma (Paul) Yoder of Coldwater, MI, Lovina Kauffman of Elkhart, IN, Melvin Kauffman of IN, Elmer (Kaye) Kauffman of Shipshewana, IN, Edward (Ruth) Kauffman of Mendon, MI and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Laura Slabaugh and 2 brothers Hank and Joe Kauffman.

     Harvey was member of the Vineyard Church in Mishawaka and he enjoyed hiking, cooking, photography, and ministering.  Harvey worked as a truck driver in the construction industry.

     Visitation will be private for family and cremation will follow.  Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Vineyard Church in Mishawaka.
