Glenn W. Henderson

Glenn W. Henderson, 85, was reunited with his wife on September 4, 2020.  He was born September 18, 1934 to Dale & Ella Henderson. 

  On October 1, 1955 in Angola he married Carol “Sue” Houck; she preceded him in death on March 5, 2010. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and 3 siblings, Willie Henderson, Thomas “Hugh” Henderson and Frieda Callahan.

  Surviving are 3 children, Glenda (Dennis) Smeltzer, Tracie (Steve) Westlake, Glenn "Dana" (Jennifer) Henderson, 6 grandchildren, Chad (Robyn) Smeltzer, Nicole Smeltzer-Joldersma, Chelsea (Bruce) Allen, Devlyn (Alley Cataldo) Henderson, Haley Henderson, and Jase Henderson.  Also surviving are 4 great-grandchildren, Drew Smeltzer, Jack Joldersma, Forrest Sayre and Waylon Henderson.

  Glenn owned several companies in the R.V. and car manufacturing industries over the last 30 years, including, Henderson Manufacturing and his most recent Class Auto.  He enjoyed traveling with his wife, going to car auctions and to casinos.   Glenn always made his family a top priority and will be remembered as a wonderful father, grandfather and friend to many. 

  Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.    

 Entombment will follow in Rice Cemetery.

  Memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Hospice Care-Elkhart.
