Glenn A. Gendron
September 16, 1957 – January 19, 2023
Glenn A. Gendron, age 65, of Middlebury, IN passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 19 while camping with his wife, Kathy, in Jennings, FL.
He was born on September 16th, 1957 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Alvin and Ruth Gendron. Glenn received his BA in Management from the University of Notre Dame. He spent three years in the United States Military as an Artillery Officer. He then pursued his MSBA in Business Administration from IUSB. Glenn had a lifelong career in the RV Industry as a Plant Manager, Supply Chain Director, and in Inventory Control. More importantly to Glenn were his certifications in Yoga Instruction and as a Yoga Education Provider.
Glenn married the love of his life, Kathy (Rolfsen) Gendron, on July 20, 1985, at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Notre Dame, Indiana. The couple celebrated 37 years together this past summer.
Glenn was an adventurous soul who enjoyed camping/trailblazing with his wife, teaching/ practicing Yin Yoga, golfing, and spending time with family. He always had a story (or three) to share about his adventures. He most enjoyed doting on his two grandsons, whom he loved dearly.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Kathy Gendron, Nicholas (Brittni and Koda) Gendron, Kimberly (Kevin and Cormac) Murray, puppies Khara and Kalia, stepmother Norma Gendron, and siblings Blake, Douglas, James, Ann, and Robert. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth (Latvala) Gendron, and his father, Alvin J. Gendron.
Visitation services will be held on Saturday, February 18th from 2 pm – 5 pm at the Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Elkhart, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Glenn’s name to Riley Children’s Hospital.
