GLADYS I. CORRELL

September 24, 1935 – June 8, 2022

ELKHART- Gladys I. Correll, 86, of Elkhart, died Wednesday June 8, 2022, in Elkhart.  She was born September 24, 1935, in Elkhart, Indiana to Joseph & Madline (Southworth) Vincent.

     On July 8, 1972, she married Ward L. Correll.  He preceded her in death on March 25, 2017.  Also preceding her in death were her parents, a son Lewis E. Waterman, Jr., 2 brothers, Lewis and Charles Vincent and 2 sisters, Alice Saunders and Edith Hubbard.  Surviving is a son, Larry (Sue) Correll of Beloit, WI; 6 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

     Gladys was a member of the Quarter century Club at Miles, a former member of the Winding Waters Brethren Church, attended the Adamsville Road Church of God and she enjoyed working in her yard and designing floral arrangements.

     She retired in 1995 from Miles (Now Bayer) where she worked for over 32 years.

     Funeral services for Gladys will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 11, 2022, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Dr. Larry Correll will preside, and burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.  Friends may visit with the family for 1 hour prior to the service.

     Memorial contributions may be given to Heart-to-Heart Hospice or to Holisticare Homes 57711 C.R. 9, Elkhart, IN 46517.
