Gary M. Stewart, 71, passed away April 12, 2025, at The Laurels of Dekalb in Butler, IN.  He was born October 28, 1953, in

To Elvin & Doris (Doan) Stewart. 

  Surviving is his mother, Doris Stewart, sister, Rebecca Rheinheimer, brother, David Stewart, numerous nieces and nephews.

  He was preceded in death by his father, Elvin Stewart, sister, Diane Stewart, 2 brothers, Gregory Stewart Sr. and Daniel Stewart.

 Gary had over 100 fishing poles and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing, tinkering around in the garage, home gardening in the springtime, and feeding and watching the birds.

  His 2 dogs were like family to him and they brought him great joy.

  Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.

  Burial will be held privately in Prairie Street Cemetery.
