Gary W. Leonard, 59, passed away February 27th, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones in his home in Edwardsburg, Michigan. He was born December 30th, 1964, in Jacksonville, Illinois to Tamara A. Leonard of Roodhouse, Illinois.

Gary met the love of his life, Tamsen A. Lee, at Glenda’s Restaurant, where she worked, in the summer of 1986. They were married August 30th, 1987. Tamsen survives along with their three children, Amberly (Gabe) Miller, Ashlynn Leonard, and Ellis Leonard, and two grandchildren Ronin and Orion Miller. Also surviving are Gary’s mother, Tamara A. Leonard, stepmother Paula Winchester, five siblings, Craig (Sue) Leonard, John Leonard, Dena Peterson, Ronnie Winchester, and Greg Winchester, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his father Ronald Winchester and grandparents Ross and Margaret Leonard and Wilson and Irene Winchester.

Gary loved spending time with his family and going on adventures. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. Gary’s many years working in telecommunications and tree trimming took him all over the country where he made many friends.

A celebration of life will be held for family and friends to gather at Chapel Hill Missionary Church in Union, MI on April 6th, 2024, at 2:00 pm.
