Emma Guzman Trejo

ELKHART-Emma Guzman Trejo, 78, passed away June 1, 2026 at her home in Elkhart.  She was born January 26, 1948, in Orizaba, Veracruz, Mexico to Rutilo Guzman and Ines Aguilar.

  Surviving is her husband of almost 57 years, Jorge Trejo Soto, 5 children, Martha (Agustin De La Rosa) Trejo, Agustin (Claudia) Trejo, Socorro (Juan Parra) Trejo, Aurora (Jose) Machado, Rosaura Trejo, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. 

  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Roman Gabriel Guzman Aguilar.

    Emma enjoyed gardening, traveling and crocheting in her spare time.  She will be remembered for being a selfless woman, always devoting herself to her family; who meant everything to her.  

  Visitation will be held from 11-2  p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.   Burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery.
