Elliott C. Ward

ELKHART-Elliott C. Ward, 2, passed away at Corewell Health Zeeland Hospital in Zeeland, MI on August 22, 2023.

  He was born March 17, 2021, in Elkhart.

  Surviving are his parents, Jeffrey & Rachel (Kleyn)Ward, sisters, Ivy (4), and Evelyn (1), paternal grandparents, Stephen & Noreen Ward, and maternal grandparents, Cornelis “Taz” & Rebecca Kleyn.  Also surviving are paternal great-grandparents, John& Mary Doncaster, maternal great-grandparents, Nick & Ina Kleyn, Ed & Mary Lotterman, aunts, Abbie (Nate), Kelsie (Ethan), uncles, Justin, Jared and a large circle of loving family members and friends.

  Elliott was a smiling, happy, bright boy that could recite his colors, numbers and ABC’s.  He loved the outdoors, matchbox cars, playing with sidewalk chalk, watching Bluey, facetiming his grandma, and above all playing with his sisters.  His presence will be missed deeply by his family.

  Visitation will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 11-1 p.m. at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at Salem Cemetery.  Presiding will be Rev. Rodney Kleyn.
