Elizabeth “LaDawn” Morgan
May 5, 1959-April 15, 2023
GOSHEN-Elizabeth “LaDawn” Morgan, 63, passed away April 15, 2023, at Goshen Hospital. She was born May 5, 1959, in Farmington, NM.
On December 29, 1998. she married Charles Morgan Jr.
Surviving is her mother, Betty Watson, her husband, Charles “Chuck” Morgan Jr., 5 children, Carla (Carlos) Rodriguez, Joanna (Efrain Valdez) Rodriguez, Rana (Rogelio) Alonzo, Charles (Cyndy Urbina) Morgan III, Theda Morgan, 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Lynette (David) Goehler, 2 nieces, Dawnette Goehler and Ashley Goehler; who fondly referred to LaDawn as “Aunt DaDa”.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Watson.
LaDawn received her bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University where she also became an employee as well. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Riverview General Baptist Church, a great sharpshooter and loved spending her time doing all sorts of crafts.
Per her wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Riverview General Baptist Church. Presiding will be Pastor Bob Lambert.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help offset expenses.
Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
