Eleanor A. (Stephenson) Miller

February 25, 1937 – June 17, 2024

ELKHART – Eleanor A. (Stephenson) Miller, 87, died on June 17, 2024 at Harmony of Elkhart. 

Eleanor was born February 25, 1937 to Theodore and Dolores (Hartman) Stephenson in Rochester, NY. On September 21, 1957, she married Carl E. Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, and brothers Donald J. and Clarence J. Stephenson. 

Mrs. Miller attended Elkhart High School and retired from OSMC where she was employed as an X-Ray Technician and later as a medical transcriptionist. Ellie enjoyed reading, bridge, dominos, painting and crafting of all kinds. 

She is survived by her sons, Charles (Sharon) Miller of Mechanicsville, MD, and Stephen (Wendy) Miller of New Port Richey, FL; daughter, Pamela (David) Munn of Elkhart; brother Robert, of Herndon, VA as well as 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She loved her family.

Cremation has occurred. A gravesite burial will be held at Olive West Cemetery, Wakarusa with Jason Thompson, her great nephew, officiating.  Burial will take place at Olive on Saturday, July 27 at 10:30 am. A celebration of life will be held at Nelson’s in Wakarusa immediately following where lunch will be served. All are welcome to attend.
