ELKHART-Eldon E. Harmon, 47, passed away January 17, 2024, at his home in Elkhart.  He was born August 19, 1976, in Kalamazoo, MI.

  Surviving is his mother, Karen Howard, 2 daughters, Jordan French, Haley Harmon, a stepdaughter, Mekaila Reynolds, 2 siblings, Misty (Jody) Cook, Joseph Harmon, numerous nieces and nephews.

  He was preceded in death by the man who raised him, Charles “Tom” Howard. 

  Eldon will be remembered for being young at heart, fun-loving, and funny.  He was a father figure to many, caring for those who deserved it, and always up for having a good time with family and friends. 

  Visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2024, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home with a celebration of life service beginning at 6 p.m.  Officiating will be Pastor Carl Henry from Northside Baptist Church.  Inurnment will be held at a later date in Rice Cemetery.
