Edna Allen Obituary

ELKHART- Edna Mae Allen, 87, of Elkhart, passed away Friday October 2, 2020 at her residence. She was born January 5, 1933 in Elkhart to Lawrence & Nettie (Benson) Dorrier.

On December 28, 1949 in Elkhart she married Ralph Wigent. He preceded her in death on February 20, 1968. Then she married Russell Allen, Jr. on February 1, 1969. He preceded her in death on May 9, 1989. Surviving are 7 children, Ralph Wigent, Timothy Wigent both of Winter Haven, FL, Thorrecia Ray, Jenny Kelly both of Elkhart, Connie Troup of South Bend, Nettie (Ron) Allen of Dover, FL, Christine Bachtel of Elkhart; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and a sister, Betty Griffin of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Dorrier and her mother Nettie Greenlee.

There will be no visitation or services and cremation will take place. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.

Memorial contributions may be given to The Center for Hospice Care.
