ELKHART~ Donna Carol Alwine, 55 of Elkhart, Indiana died Monday, May 2, 2022, at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on November 14, 1966, in Lauderdale County, Alabama to Don and Carolyn (Tharp) Swader.

On November 24, 1984, she married Ronald E. Alwine. He survives, along

with 1 daughter, Rashell (Christopher) Lane, 2 grandchildren, Makenzie and Bentley Bailey. Also, surviving is her mother, Carolyn Cameron, and 1 brother Matthew (Autumn) Cameron. Preceding her in death was her father, Don Swader, Grandmother Doris Tharp, and 1 brother, David Phares.

Donna worked as a librarian for Middlebury Community schools. She graduated from Jimtown in 1985. She liked fishing, drawing, crafting, and loved to watch the birds.

A celebration of life for Donna will be at Walley Mills Zimmerman funeral home on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. ~ 1:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, in Bristol. Officiating will be Pastor Bob Vale.
