Donald T. Glick

 Donald T. Glick, 89, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday June 25, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital.  He was born May 7, 1931 in Elkhart to Ellsworth Jay & Bessie Lee (Thornton) Glick.

     On May 29, 1958 he married Carol A. Hartranft.  She survives along with 2 children, Laura (Ken) Proctor and David (Lori) Glick both of Elkhart; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Leroy E. Glick.

     Don served in the US Army from 1951 – 1953 and received an honorable discharge.  He was a member of the Dunlap United Methodist Church and a former member of the National Association of Accountants.  He was an avid Notre Dame fan and loved to collect and smoke tobacco pipes.  Don worked as an accountant for over 45 years.

     Visitation for family and friends (masks are required) will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday July 1, 2020 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday July 3, 2020 (masks are required) at the Dunlap United Methodist Church.  Pastor Melissa Englehart will preside.

     Memorial contributions may be given to the Dunlap United Methodist Church, Church Community Services or the Special Olympics.
