ELKHART-Dick Myatt, 83, passed away March 28, 2024, at Elkhart General Hospital.  He was born January 25, 1941, in Bald Knob, AR, to Fred & Grace (Shank) Myatt.   He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 siblings, Fred Myatt and Edith Engleman. Surviving are 2 sons, Richard Keith Myatt, Jon “Steve” Myatt, and a brother, John Myatt. Dick received his Master’s Degree in Phycology from Harding College in Searcy, AR while also owning and managing the Market Café in Bald Knob, AR.  After leaving the business in 1980, he was a sales representative in the electrical/motor controls industry for 36 years. He was a former President in the Lions Club in Bald Knob. Dick liked reading, walking, and visiting with his local and national friends which reinforced his love of driving wherever the road took him.  He had a passion from his education to stay up-to-date with the nations current sociological events.  He carried a copy of the Desiderata in his front pocket for over 40 years. Visitation will be held from 10-12-noon Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the charity of donor’s choice.
