SOUTH BEND-Dewayne “Eddie” Huffer, 59, passed away March 7, 2023, at his home in South Bend.  He was born January 19, 1964, in Scotland.
  Surviving are 3 children, Amy Huffer, Jessica Brazeau, Justin Brazeau, 3 grandchildren, Aleyiah Huffer, Jenna Flores, Azariah Huffer and his father, Alven Huffer.  Also surviving are 4 siblings, Michael Huffer, Alven Huffer, Tom Liedtky, Kimberly (Curt) Cather, 2 stepchildren, Nicole Randall, Trisha Randall, 3 step-grandchildren, Bethany, Abby, and RaeLee.
  He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Huffer and his wife, Jeanne Huffer. 
  Eddie loved cooking, walking his dog, and playing guitar.  Guitar was his great love, and he was known to many as “Fast Eddie”.  He was truly a kid at heart and enjoyed being silly and making memories with his grandchildren. 
  A celebration of life gathering will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 700 East Jackson Blvd. Elkhart, IN 46516.
  Memorial contributions may be given to the family c/o Jessica to help offset expenses.
  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
