DAVID C VAUGHN 

               Elkhart – David C. Vaughn 73, went to be with our Lord on May 1, 2024, at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born on February 2, 1951, at Sturgis Hospital in Michigan to Charles E. (Pat) Vaughn and Vivian (Mead) Cannons. Both proceeded him in death.

Surviving is his wife of 36 years Pamela (Kleer) Vaughn, two daughters Candy (Craig) Cary, Howe IN, Heather Vaughn, Colon MI, and two grandsons Nathan and Benjamin Cary.

Dave attended school in Bronson Michigan, he did not graduate, but instead chose to enlist in the Navy in 1968. Where he became a diesel mechanic on the USS Rankin.

Dave enjoyed bowling, fishing, reading, movies, crafts, playing euchre and other card games. He also enjoyed spending time with family, friends and working on older muscle cars.

Dave attended church at New Hope Methodist Church in Elkhart. He was a member of the DAV chapter 19 and the American Legion.

Services will be held graveside at Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart at 1 pm Friday, May 10th.  A celebration of his life will be held at the American Legion in Bristol following the graveside service.
