David Myrick Obituary

David (Buddy) Myrick, 34, of Elkhart, unexpectedly entered our Lord’s Kingdom on September 20, 2023.  He was born December 24,1988 to Buffy (Clayton) and David Myrick.  Preceded in death by his father, David (2009).  He is survived by his mother, Buffy; step-father, Vincent; sister, Kaley; & brother, Alex. Grandson of Mike & Terry, nephew of Michael & Dustin and has many cousins.

Buddy loved being with his family, laughing, joking, sharing funny jokes & memes & especially eating his grandma TT’s cooking. He was a huge fan of Nickleback and Tupac, reading, and had a large collection of books. He enjoyed watching anime, going to movies and binge watching many TV series.  He was always helping his family whenever he could, carrying bags for Grandma TT, and doing projects with Pawpaw Mikey.  Buddy was always up for a good teasing, loved playing poker and even got caught cheating at cards a few times. He was fearful of “Cujo" but loved the family’s German Shepherds. Buddy was the son to Pawpaw Mikey and Grandma TT that they never had.

The family will receive friends on Saturday September 30,2023 from 11:00am until 1:00pm, with a memorial service beginning at 1:00pm, at Wally Mills Zimmerman Funeral Home 700 East Jackson Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46516.
