Daniel R. Stewart

June 11, 1958-June 5, 2024

GRANGER-Daniel R. Stewart, 65, passed away June 5, 2024, at Belltower in Granger.  He was born June 11, 1958, Goshen, Indiana to Elvin E. & Doris M. (Doan) Stewart.

     Surviving is his mother, Doris M. Stewart, 3 siblings, Gary M. Stewart, Rebecca A. Rheinheimer, David A. Stewart, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

 He was preceded in death by his father Elvin E. Stewart, his twin sister, Diane K. Stewart and a brother, Gregory L. Stewart Sr.

     Daniel enjoyed doing arts and crafts and had a lot of mechanical tools, scissors and pens.  His favorite breakfast was bacon and eggs, and he was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, collected cd players, and always managed to entertain himself.  Daniel had 3 great friends throughout his life, and a beloved dog named Charlie that he got from a shelter 7 years ago.  Charlie was a good watch dog that would bark if he heard any noise.  Daniel will be missed by his family and friends.

     Visitation will be held from 12-1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 1 p.m.  Pastor Tom DeFries from St. Paul’s United Methodist Church will preside.

 Burial will be held privately at Prairie Street Cemetery.
