Daniel Haskett Obituary

ELKHART-Daniel K. Haskett, 67, passed away March 7, 2024, due to injuries sustained from a car accident.  He was born June 26, 1956, in Nashville, TN.

  On May 19, 2006 he married Krista Cloud; she survives along with 2 children, Tracy Haskett, Eric (Ali) Haskett, 3 siblings, Mark (Lida) Haskett, Christina “Chris” (Bud) Lampert, Tina (Otto) Reick, and 5 grandchildren, Isaac, Brianna, Landon, Daniel, and Lillian.

  He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara (Carl) Messimore and father, Raymond Haskett.

  Daniel retired in 2022 from Thor Industries and attended Granger Community Church.  He enjoyed restoring his 1956 Chevy truck, building and driving dune buggies, kayaking, fishing, and watching NASCAR.  He was an intelligent man that was “Always Right”, a great storyteller and a true “Jack of All Trades”.  Daniel will be deeply missed by his family and friends. 

   Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 Friday, March 15, 2024 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.

    Burial will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Elwood Cemetery 1000 South E Street Elwood, IN 46036.   Presiding will be Rev. Richard Nicely. 

 Memorial contributions may be given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
