Dale D. Ritchie Obituary

 

ELKHART-Dale D. Ritchie, 70, passed away June 15, 2024, in Angola, IN.  He was born September 9, 1953, in Mishawaka, IN. 


  On September 8, 1984, he married Karen Hallis; she survives along with 6 siblings, Darlene (John) Snook, Ronnie (Vonnie) Ritchie, Debra Estes, Steven (Faye) Ritchie, Curtis (Monica) Elliott, and Mark Elliott. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews that he truly cherished. 


  He was preceded in death by parents, Curtis & Claudeen (Imus) Elliott.


  Dale was a very hard worker throughout his life.  Along with many other jobs he also owned Antiques on Beardsley for 25 years.  He was a member of Prairie Street Mennonite Church, enjoyed attending auctions, gardening, and debating politics.  His parting words to all his friends and family would be “Bleep Trump!”


  Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service on Monday, June 24, 2024, at Prairie Street Mennonite Church.


  Memorial contributions may be given to the Beacon Health Foundation. 


  Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
