CRAIG ALBERT STEVENS

July 4, 1944 – August 22, 2025

ELKHART- Craig Albert Stevens, 81, of Elkhart, passed away Friday August 22, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.  He was born July 4, 1944, in Elkhart, Indiana to Albert Joseph & Helen Josephine (Strukel) Stevens.

     He was preceded in death by his wife Linda D. Stevens, his parents, Albert Joseph Stevens & Helen Josephine Turk, and his stepfather Nicholas J. Turk.  Surviving are 2 children, James Albert Stevens and Mary Margaret Schrock, both of Elkhart; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and a great grandchild that is on the way.

     Craig worked at The Selmer Company in Elkhart for over 32 years. 

Cremation will take place, and a celebration of life service gathering will be Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 11am-1pm at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home with a service at 1pm.  Burial will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery.
