COLIN DAVID STOKELY

May 9, 1978 – August 28, 2021

 

 

Eagan, MN- Colin David Stokely, 43, of Eagan, MN, died Saturday August 28, 2021, at Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN.  He was born May 9, 1978, in Augsburg, West Germany to David Allen and Kristine Anne (Johnson) Stokely.

     Surviving is his father and stepmother, David A. (Jackie) Stokely of LaGrange, IN; his mother, Kristine Anne Stokely of Mishawaka, IN and his sister, Adrianne Kristine Stokely.  Additional survivors are 3 stepsisters, Jennifer (Tony) Karamitsos of Mishawaka, IN Julia Anne (William) Simbeck of Osceola, IN Kimberly Majewski of Elkhart, IN and Colin’s fiancée Tara Brandt of Prior Lake, MN.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara Ann Green, David W. Stokely, Richard and Phyllis Johnson and his uncle Matthew Stokely.

     Colin was employed as a server in the food service industry.  He enjoyed reading, traveling, camping and nature.  Colin also was an animal lover, and he loved his cats dearly.

     A celebration of life gathering for family and friends will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday September 27, 2021, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  At 7:00 p.m. there will be a time for sharing of memories and stories.  A graveside service will be held at Rice Cemetery on Tuesday September 28, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.

     Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.  Memorial contributions may be given to the Second Chance Small Dog Rescue, PO Box 2403, Elkhart, IN 46516 or to the Elkhart County Humane Society, 54687 C.R. 19, Bristol, IN 46507.
