Charles William Johnson, 64, of Elkhart, died Wednesday
August 17, 2022, at this residence in Elkhart. He was born November 2, 1957, in Elkhart to Charley T. and Mattie Lena (Durham) Johnson.
Surviving are 2 children, Harmony Johnson and Bill Johnson; 1 brother, Robert (Mary Lou) Johnson, 1 sister, Helen Johnson and his loving partner of 24 years, Penney J. Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Tom (Peggy) Johnson and 2 sisters, Marlene Johnson Pickard, and Judy Johnson.
Charles was a US veteran serving in the US Navy and in the US Marine Corps.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or services and cremation will take place. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
