BRENDA FAYE RUSSO

October 2, 1942 – July 11, 2023

ELKHART- Brenda F. Russo, 80, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on October 2, 1942’ in Salem, Kentucky to the late Eugene W. and Thelma (May) Farris.

In 1983 she married the late Anthony B. Russo.

Survivors include 2 sons, Charles E. (Cristine) Rinehart and James K. (Cris) Rinehart, both of Elkhart; 2 stepsons, Tony Russo Jr. of Elkhart and John Russo of Bristol; 1 stepdaughter, Maria (Mike) Pendley of Elkhart; 1 sister, Cynthia Hunter of Odessa, TX; 1 brother-in-law Virgil Swann, of Elkhart; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a stepson, Joe Russo; brother, Eugene Farris; 2 sisters, Charlotte Swann and Monda (Larry) Tyler.

Brenda was employed as a hairdresser and cosmetologist for 33 years prior to her retirement in 1998.

There will be no public services and cremation will take place at Elkhart Cremation Services.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice in memory of

Brenda.
