ELKHART-Brenda L. Farris, 71, passed away August 10, 2024, at her home in Elkhart. She was born July 5, 1953, in Akron, OH to Bill & Laura (Eversole) Couch.
On July 1, 1973, she married Jospeh Farris; he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are 4 children, Bernice Farris, Starr (Tony) Dangerfield, Racheal (Josue) Rodriguez, Laura (Joshua) Bolen, 4 grandchildren, Blake, Julian, Karter and Gianni. Also surviving are 6 siblings, Hubert Couch, Delbert (Becky) Couch, Elbert (Mary) Couch, Billyjo Couch, Rick Couch, and Janet (Jay) Mosley.
Brenda enjoyed traveling but her true joy was her family that meant everything to her, especially her grandchildren.
Per her wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Brenda’s home.
Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
