BEVERLY JEAN WISE

August 23, 1930 – June 24, 2024

ELKHART- Beverly Jean Wise, 93, of Elkhart, passed away Monday June 24, 2024, at Greenleaf Health Campus.  She was born August 23, 1930, in Elkhart, Indiana to Arthur W. & Dorothy G. (Miller) Hoadley.

     On December 24, 1948, she married Charles H. Wise.  He preceded her in death on September 26, 1992.  Surviving are 3 sons, Gary L. Wise of Cassopolis, MI, Charles E. Wise of Willow Springs, MO, Timothy L. Wise of Monterey, IN; 7 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Richard Hoadley and a sister, Maxine Personett.

     Beverly was formerly employed at United Stitchcraft as a commercial seamstress.  Beverly enjoyed crocheting and was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church and a life member of the Women of the Moose.

     Cremation will take place and a graveside service will be held at Adamsville Cemetery at a later date.  Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
