Beverly J. Emerick

February 9, 1927 – August 4, 2025

PLANO, TX-Beverly J. Emerick passed away August 4, 2025.  She was born on February 9, 1927, in Elkhart to Joseph and Geraldine (Tompkins) Goetz.  She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Wm. Wilson and her husband Jim Emerick.  Her only sibling Joseph Goetz, Jr. died October 1944, in WWII.  Also preceded in death, her stepson Jimmy, Jr.  Surviving are her children Jeffrey (Barbara) Vandemark of Murphy, TX; Gail Vandemark of Amarillo, TX; Leslie Predina of Fort Wayne, IN; Linda (Eugene) Smith of Elkhart, IN; and John (Sandra) Vandemark of Bristol, IN and 10 Grandchildren, 7 great Grandchildren and 1 great-great Grandchild. 

  Beverly spent 25 years working for the Indiana Toll Road before retiring.  Beverly loved gardening, creating crocheted items, canning, fishing and camping.  Per her wishes cremation has taken place. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.  No services are planned at this time.
