Barbara Louise "Barb" Rush

February 20, 1938 -  June 18, 2024

Barbara L. “Barb” Rush 86 passed away Tuesday June 18, 2024, at her home surrounded by loving family.  She was born in Granite City, IL to Robert and Georgena Atchison on February 20, 1938.  She married Richard L. “Dick” Rush in 1956. He preceded her in death January 9, 2007.

  Surviving are her two children Richard L. (Jeannie) Rush Jr of Elkhart and Kathy (Randy) Baker of Elkhart; 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and three sisters Sheliah (Kenny) Gross, Collette (Emmett) Crowder and Deborah Streetman.

   Visitation starts at 9:00 am followed by an 11:00 am funeral service on Monday June 24, 2024 at Elkhart Church of Christ 29222 County Road 12 Elkhart, IN 46514.  Pastor Neil Milliman will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Bristol, IN. 

    Barb retired from Benders Corner store where she was a manager for many years.  She enjoyed making all sorts of crafts and participating in many activities with her cherished church family.  She also adored spending quality time with her loving family and friends.  She was the matriarch of the family and will be deeply missed.
