BARBARA A. DOLL

July 15, 1928 – June 28, 2020

ELKHART- Barbara A. Doll, 91, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday June 28, 2020 at

Greenleaf Living Center in Elkhart.  She was born July 15, 1928 in Elkhart to Irvin & Rose (Haeb) Martin.

     On May 17, 1947 she married Robert E. Doll.  He preceded her in death on June 27, 2006.  Surviving are 3 daughters, Linda D. Edwards of Hercules, CA, Beth A. (Chuck) Bueter and Christine (Mark) VanTubbergen both of Elkhart; 1 son, Michael (Leslie) Doll of Tucson, AZ and 3 grandchildren, Sean Bueter of Winston-Salem, NC, Alyssa Brown of Papillion, NE and Brittany dos Santos (Fabio) of Red Rock, AZ.   She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 brothers, Richard & Ray Martin and a sister, Betty Lavrich.

     Barbara was a 50 plus year member of the Starlight Chapter #181 Order of the Eastern Star, a 50 plus year member of 4 Lakes Country Club in Edwardsburg, a member of the 9 holes Blossoms League at Old Orchard Golf Course and a life member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart.  She also was a volunteer at Elkhart General Hospital for over 50 years.  Barbara worked as a cashier at MCL Cafeteria in Elkhart and most recently was a homemaker.

A special loving Thank You to Greenleaf Living Center and Heartland Hospice staff.  

     Visitation for family and friends will be from 1-3 p.m. Friday July 3, 2020 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home.  At 2:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home the Order of the Eastern Star will render a short memorial service.  Funeral services for Barbara will start at 3:00 p.m. Friday.   Pastor Dan Forehand and Sister Nora Frost from Grace Lutheran Church will preside.  Burial will be private on Monday at Rice Cemetery.

     Memorial contributions may be given to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children and or Heartland Hospice.
