Arthur “Art” D. Green

ELKHART-Arthur “Art” D. Green, 86, passed away January 4, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born July 12, 1934 in White Pigeon, Mi to Francis “Willard” & Velma “Edith” (McMillan) Green.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Don Green and 1 granddaughter, Elizabeth Gibson.
Surviving are 5 children, Gail D. Thornton of Elkhart, Teresa L. Green of South Bend, Vicki A. (Chester, Jr.) Gibson of Goshen, Alicia (Chris) Elliott of Ft. Wayne, Pam (Brad) Kaser of Elkhart, 18 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is 1 brother, Jerry Green and Art’s companion, Dorothy Green.
Art was an over the road truck driver and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Elkhart. He enjoyed camping and was an enthusiast of motorcycles. He will be remembered as a people person with a unique sense of humor.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2021 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held privately, and burial will take place in Grace Lawn Cemetery in Middlebury.
