Anne Marie “Penny” Hasty

ELKHART- Anne Marie “Penny” Hasty, 81, of Elkhart, died Tuesday May 3, 2022, at Woodland Manor in Elkhart.  She was born June 5, 1940, in Elkhart, Indiana to Kenneth Otto and Virginia Loretta (Davis) Robbins.

     Surviving are 3 children, Kristin L. (Eugene) Brown of Union, MI, Jeri L. (Chris) Eby of Bristol, IN, Jack T. (Monica A.) Hasty of Monroe, NC; 10 grandchildren Jennifer Hall, Tiffany Glick, Andrew Brown, Amber Lowe, Ashley Hadley, Kevin Hadley, Brandon Hadley all of Elkhart, Indiana, Cameron Hasty, J.W. Hasty, Michael Hasty all of North Carolina.  Also surviving are 26 great-grandchildren, Cloey, Damien, Paisley, Bristol, Addy, Hunter, Mia, Sarah, Emma, Hunter, Noah, Myla, Maci, Rylee, Addi, Kasen, Peyton, Keely, Ayden, Claire, Miles, Eli, Caleb, Little Caleb, Reagan, Charlee: her brother, Charles L. “Chuck” Robbins of Fairview Heights, IL, and her furry friend “Tigg”.  Anne was preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters, Kimberly Hasty and Lori Lynn Jernijcic, and grandson, Dylan Miller.

     Anne was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Edwardsburg, MI.  She enjoyed gardening, reading, knitting, crocheting, and loved baking cookies with the grandkids.  She was employed at Elkhart Machine & Tool as an office manager.

    Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. ~ 11:00 a.m., with her service starting at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church,

24832 U.S. Highway 12, Edwardsburg, MI  49112.  Officiating will be Father Raj Nathan.  Burial will follow at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Elkhart, Indiana.

    Memorial contributions may be given to Heart-to-Heart Hospice. 

    Walley Mills Zimmerman is entrusted with her care.
