ANNA IWANKO

May 4, 1930 – November 26, 2023

ELKHART- Anna Iwanko, 93, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away Sunday November 26, 2023, at her residence in Elkhart.  She was born May 4, 1930, in the Ukraine to Konstantin & Domacha (Putiwchenko) Horban.

     On May 11, 1952, she married Jakob Iwanko.  He preceded her in death on May 23, 2017.  Surviving is her daughter, Larissa A. Ambrose, and her grandson Jacob Ambrose, both of Elkhart, IN.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband a daughter, Ludmila Iwanko and a brother.

     Anna was a homemaker who in her younger years enjoyed cooking and reading.

     A graveside service for Anna will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday December 1, 2023, at Rice Cemetery.  Rev. Joel DeSelm from the California Road Missionary Church will render the service.  A procession will form at 1:45 p.m. Friday at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 700 E. Jackson Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46516.
