Anna Ihrig (Baronowska)
Elkhart-Anna Ihrig, 93, of Elkhart died peacefully at her
home at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 7th) after a brief illness. She was born December 9th,1928 in
Velka Polana, Slovak Republic. She married Willy Ihrig in 1949. They moved to the United States
in 1956. Her husband died in 1996. Surviving are 9 children. Two sons, Fred (Renet ) Ihrig of Elkhart and
Steve Ihrig of South Bend. Seven daughters, Yvonne (Wayne) Mcdonald of Mottville Mi., Margaret (Dave) Wilkey,
Julie (Steve) Coleman, Diane (Kevin) Duffield, Joann Geesaman and Carol Ihrig all of Elkhart. And Lindy Ihrig of South Bend.
She had many grandchildren, great grandchildren and step grandchildren. She was pure love and it radiated from her. You always felt surrounded from her love. Friends may come from 3-7 Thursday, December 15,2022 at Wally Mills Zimmerman for visitation. Friday visitation at World Harvest Church on Nappanee St.. in Elkhart from 10-11 with funeral following. Officiated by Nate Caloway. Burial will be at Prairie Street Cemetery. Memorials may be given to World Harvest Church of Elkhart.
