ELKHART-Alverda “Verde” M. Green, 96, passed away January 4, 2021 at Eastlake Terrace in Elkhart. She was born February 7, 1924 in North Adams, MI to Alton & Anna (Julian) Bizoe.

On February 19, 1944 in Camp Pickett, VA she married Howard Green; he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, Dennis Green and 2 siblings, Howard Bizoe and Vera Draper.

Surviving is 1 daughter, Beverly Green, 4 grandchildren, Camie Green, Breton Green, Tony (Tara) Green, Lisa Green, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Services for Verde will be held privately, and entombment will take place at Rice Cemetery in Memories Mausoleum.

Verde enjoyed crafting and raising her two children. She will be remembered as a loving and loyal wife, mother and grandmother.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Leukemia Association.
