Albert "Al" F Brainard

Albert “Al” F. Brainard, 72 passed away at his home in Elkhart. Al was eldest of 6 children of and preceded by his loving parents, Aaron D. and Julia C. Brainard and siblings Roxanne Vee Brainard, David Leslie Brainard. Survived by remaining siblings Lawrence Cody Brainard, Jeanette Lu Brainard and her children and Kenneth Bruce Brainard.

1970 graduate of Tawas Area High School, with honors, he was ranked third in the state of Michigan, in mathematics, on his PSAT's before entering Michigan Tech University for Chemical Engineering. A severe auto accident shortened Al's college, and he perused a career as a Plumbing Contractor and a Landlord in Elkhart. Scuba diver, A lifelong naturalist, with his knowledge-passion for mushrooms and Monarch Butterflies.
