RODNEY LEE RAGSDALE May 31, 1954 - May 10, 2018 ELKHART- Rodney Lee Ragsdale, 63, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday May 10, 2018 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born May 31, 1954 in Elkhart to Guy & Martha (May) Ragsdale. In 1971 in Barboursville, Kentucky he married Linda Sue Wagers. She survives along with 2 children, Amy S. Ragsdale, Crystal L. Ragsdale both of Elkhart; 4 grandchildren, Yasmine, Rochelle, Logan, Lourdes and a great granddaughter, Ariela. Also surviving are 3 sisters, Marilyn (John) Coran of Manchester, OH, Sally (Robert) Fabiano, Darla Gilbert both of Elkhart; 3 brothers, James C. (Betty) Ragsdale of Middlebury, Guy Ragsdale, Jr. and Bradley J. Ragsdale both of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, William Brent Ragsdale and 3 sisters, Juanita Ragsdale, Myrna Winter and Connie Upham. Rodney enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was the owner of R.T.K. Construction Company and also was a farmer. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place and a private family gathering will take place at a later date. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
