Rodney Lee Good

Rodney Lee Good, 71, of Goshen, passed away Thursday August 23, 2018 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. He was born November 8, 1946 in Kankakee, Illinois to the late Bernard & Elizabeth (Brosseau) Good. On January 20, 1968 in Kankakee, IL he married Suzanne Marie "Susie" Guimond. She survives along with 4 children, Bryan L. Good of Elkhart, IN, Brandon W. (Rebecca) Good of Granger, IN, Bradlee T. Good of Lafayette, IN, Ashlee M. Good of Elkhart, IN; 6 grandchildren, Miranda Good, Chase Baker, Jacob Baker, Christian Good, Emerson Good, Evrett Good and 2 sisters, Linda Good and Jayne (Gregory) Roberts both of Phoenix, AZ. Rodney served in the US Navy from 1964-1967 and received an honorable discharge. He worked for the New York Central, Penn Central and Conrail Railroads from 1968-1990 and retired as a conductor/brakeman. He was a member of AA for over 36 years and a former member of the Moose Lodge. Rodney enjoyed fishing, gardening, bowling and was an all-around handyman who could work on or fix anything. In keeping with his wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
