Roberta J. "Bobbie" Cox

Roberta J. "Bobbie" Cox, 82, of Goshen, passed away Monday April 15, 2019 at Greencroft Healthcare in Goshen. She was born January 14, 1937 in Elkhart to the late Robert William & Donna (Padman) Chaffee. Surviving are 4 children, Steve (Lana) Wright of South Bend, Chuck Wright of Osceola, Debbie Wright of Elkhart, Bob (Christine) Wright of Mishawaka; 5 grandchildren Jennifer, Liz, Brian, Brenda and Shawn. Also surviving are 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a brother, Jim Clemens of Elkhart. "Bobbie" was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and a member of the Women of the Moose. She enjoyed making floral arrangements, playing cards and bingo. She worked at Penn Controls in Goshen, did dog grooming and was a newspaper carrier for the Elkhart Truth. Bobbie cherished all of the friendships she made during her staying at Greencroft. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2-5 p.m. Friday and from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday April 20, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rice Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Elkhart County Humane Society.
