Pearl Overholser Obituary

Pearl E. Overholser, 90, passed away July 13, 2017 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born July 13, 1927 in Goshen to the late Haskle & Eva Naomi (Cripe) Kline. On December 6, 1947 she married Robert Overholser; he passed away May 6, 1987. She was preceded in death by; son Norman Overholser, granddaughter Rebecca Hope, great-grandson Bronson Murphy, siblings Marjorie Horn, Evelyn Murdock, Dale Kline, Max Kline and Haskle Kline, Jr. Surviving is a daughter Sharon Lucas, grandchildren Ordie Leemon, Miles Whitting, Zeek Overholser and Michael Lekarczyk, great-grandson Brandon Murphy, great-great-grandson Andre Murphy and 2 brothers George Kline and Robert Kline. Pearl was a previous member of First Brethren Church in South Bend and a member of Little Pine Church in Goshen. She worked at numerous factories in her life time and was also a home healthcare nurse for over 10 years. In her spare time she enjoyed playing bingo, cards, doing crossword puzzles, sewing, reading, camping and traveling. She was always there for her family and will be truly missed. Burial will be held Friday, July 21, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at Little Pine Cemetery in Goshen. Memorial contributions may be given to Little Pine Church.
