PATRICK D. SAGE February 28, 1948 - January 21, 2019 ELKHART- Patrick D. Sage, 70, of Elkhart, passed away Monday January 21, 2019 at the Elkhart Hospice House. He was born February 28, 1948 in Mexico, Missouri to James & Mary (Woolfolk) Sage. On July 18, 1970 in Elkhart he married Donna C. Shrock. She survives along with 2 children, Paul (Mona) Sage of Elkhart, Penny Sage of Goshen; 3 grandsons, Richard (Emily) Willard, Joe Sage both of Elkhart, Jaron Sage of Goshen and 4 great-granddaughters, Lilliana Willard, Madison Willard, Victoria Willard and Megan Willard. Also surviving is his twin brother, Michael Sage of Elkhart, a brother, Robert Sage and a sister, Diane Duckworth both of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, John Sage and James "Skip" Sage and a sister, Linda Sage. Patrick served in the US Army from 1966 -1969 during the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge. He enjoyed collecting coins and stamps, doing woodworking and crafting and watching movies. Patrick worked for the Indiana Toll Road as a Plaza Supervisor in Elkhart and Bristol from 1969 - 2007. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or services and cremation will take place. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
