Melvin Wayne Utley

ELKHART-Melvin Wayne Utley, 62, passed away June 18, 2018 at his home in Elkhart. He was born February 11, 1956 in Waukegan, IL to Herbert & Ruth (Iverson) Utley. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Cary Utley. Surviving are 2 brothers, Timothy (Karmin) Utley, Rodney (Judy) Utley, 8 nieces and nephews, Allison (Jeremy) Mahan, Justin Utley, Collin Utley, Connor Utley, Zachary Utley, Elise Utley, Abby Utley, Jordan Utley and numerous other family members. Melvin was an avid Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Notre Dame Football fan. Visitation will be 4:00pm - 5:00pm on Thursday, June 21, 2018 and a celebration of life service will follow at 5 p.m. at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Brouillette from Extend Community. Burial will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to Oaklawn.
