Marlyn J. Eggleston May 27, 1936-October 31, 2018 ELKHART-Marlyn J. Eggleston, 82, passed away October 31, 2018 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born May 27, 1936 in Bryant, IN to Ruben & Ruth (Fager) DeHoff. On June 26, 1955 in Elkhart she married Earl Eggleston; he preceded her in death on January 4, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Albert Dehoff. Surviving are 2 sons, Greg (Diana) Eggleston, Rob (Christi) Eggleston, 4 grandchildren, Rebecca (Bill Juday) Eggleston, Joshua (Mindi) Eggleston, Lucas Eggleston, Shea Eggleston, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Jean Abbott and Betty Chaffee. Marlyn graduated from Elkhart High School in 1955 and worked at CTS as a machine operator for 34 years until her retirement in 2000. She was also a member of the Ladies of the Moose and Order of the Eastern Star #181. In her spare-time she enjoyed camping and playing bingo. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Presiding will be her nephew Camden Chaffee and burial will be held privately in Adamsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Fido Fund of Michiana, 4000 E.
