Marjorie McGlauchlen Obituary

Marjorie L. McGlauchlen, 88, passed away February 2, 2020 at Valley View Healthcare. She was born January 7, 1932 in Quincy, IL to Emmett & Irene (Linthicum) Weisinger. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 siblings, Robert Weisinger and Doris Flowers. Surviving are 4 children, Patti McGlauchlen, Linda (Dirk) Hough, Lee McGlauchlen, Kevin (Laura) McGlauchlen, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 1 sister, Donna Weisinger. Marjorie worked at the Elkhart Public Library for over 20 years until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, cross-stitching and most of all reading. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she attended book clubs and Bible study groups. In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to the Elkhart Public Library. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the 12:00 Noon funeral service Friday, February 7, 2020 at O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home, 1435 State Street Quincy, IL 62301.
