ELKHART- Marilyn L. Niblock, 91, of South Bend and formerly of Elkhart, passed away Thursday at Wellbrooke of South Bend. She was born January 12, 1926 in Elkhart to the late Clayton & Jessie (Kiefer) Leib. On August 17, 1943 she married Donald C. Niblock, Jr. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2006. Surviving are 2 daughters, Larry (Billie) Millspaugh of Elkhart, Melody (Donald) Steiner of South Bend; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and a sister in law, Lois Leib of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert & Richard Leib. Marilyn was a life member of the Elkhart General Hospital Auxiliary, an avid gardener and a lover of animals, especially her two furry friends Cori and Maggie. She loved her family and all the wonderful times they spent together. The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Funeral services for Marilyn will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday November 13, 2017 at the Omega Center, 2130 Middlebury Street, Elkhart, IN. Pastor Brian Durand from the Clay United Methodist Church in South Bend will preside and burial will follow in Rice Cemetery. Friends may also visit with the family on Monday for 1 hour prior to the service. Marilyn's family would like to express their sincere thanks to the wonderful staff at Wellbrooke of South Bend for their compassionate and loving care they gave to Marilyn.
