Linette R. Dobbins

LEWISBURG, TN- Linette R. Dobbins, 63, of Lewisburg, TN, formerly of Elkhart, IN, passed away Friday September 29, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. She was born November 3, 1953 in Elkhart, IN to Linville R. & Carrie (Spaugh) Dobbins, Sr. Surviving is a son, Jerry (Jill) Johnston of Richfield, MN, a daughter, Holly (Scott) Curtiss of College Grove, TN; 4 grandchildren, Raegen, Taylor, Conner and Keaton; a great-grandson Barrett is due in December. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Shari (Douglas) MacGregor of Big Lake, Alaska, Myrna (Paul) Rink of Elkhart, IN; 2 brothers, Allen (Peggy) Dobbins of Orange Springs, FL and Rex (Julianna) Whitecotton of Lafayette, TN and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Josh Johnston, her parents, 2 sisters, Diana Reed and Judith Ann Lane and a brother Linville R. Dobbins, Jr. Linette attended Jimtown High School and was a member of the Northside Church of the Nazarene in Elkhart. She loved music, especially Gospel music. IN keeping with her wishes cremation was chosen. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00 am at Dobbins Cemetery in Wolcott, Indiana. Pastor Tim Sheets of The Northside Church of Nazarene in Elkhart will preside. Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is assisting with her arrangements.
